Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC), leading IT & ITeS solutions provider, and StorIT Distribution, a Dubai-based value added distributor for EMC, jointly organized a seminar titled ‘Cloud Transform IT’ at Holiday Hotel in Doha recently. The purpose was to share the latest information on simplifying IT infrastructure to reduce management complexities.

The seminar enabled various enterprises to explore proven strategies and advanced solutions for simplifying IT with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.

They also explained at length on integrating and improving physical and virtual backup of user’s data, its storage and protection.


The experts highlighted the importance of virtualization and cloud computing for organizations keeping up with the expanding influx of data in today’s IT driven world where data, both internal and external to a business, plays a critical role in enhancing competitiveness and connections with customers.

The event also demonstrated EMC’s products and solutions with unique features for virtualization and cloud computing which help consumers across all segments and business verticals transform their IT set ups and business competitiveness.
