The
UAE’s theme park revenue is expected to increase from USD 470 million this year
to USD 837 million in 2019.
By
2020, ten major new theme parks and two safari parks are expected to open. With
the intensifying competition in the region, parks will need to ensure
operational efficiency by supporting park operations with the implementation of
new technologies to ensure revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Dubai Parks and Resorts (Bollywood, Legoland, Lego
Water Park & Motiongate) expects to attract 5.5 million guests in 2017.
