Beirut - October 15, 2019: The Minister of Industry, H.E. Mr. Wael Abou Faour, inaugurated today, on behalf of H.E. Mr. Saad Hariri, the first edition of 4P East Med; the International Exhibition for Packaging, Processing, Printing, and Paper, at the Seaside Arena, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador; H.E. Nazih Najari, the Bangladeshi Ambassador; H.E. Abdul Motaleb Sarker, the commercial attaché at the Turkish Embassy; Mr. Elie Reaidy, the President of the Economic and Social Council; Mr. Charles Arbid, the President of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists; Dr. Fady Gemayel, the President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Tripoli and North Lebanon; Mr. Toufic Dabboussi, Mr. Mohamad El Yaman; CEO of El Yaman Group – the Strategic Partner of the event, alongside industrialists and businessmen.

Following the ribbon cutting, His Excellency and guests of 4P East Med’s opening ceremony toured the exhibition, which is held for the first time in Lebanon, and explored 3 Country Pavilions as well as the stands of local and international companies.

Organized by IFP Group (International Fairs and Promotions), 4P East Med is held under the patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers, H.E. Mr. Saad Hariri, from 15 to 18 October 2019, at the Seaside Arena, daily from 4 to 10 pm.

With the participation of over 100 exhibitors from UK, Portugal, Poland, KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, China, Bangladesh, and India, the exhibition stimulates trade with local and regional stakeholders, and brings forward top-notch products, equipment, and new technologies, in turn helping develop the industrial scene in Lebanon and the region.

4P East Med is on a mission to accelerate innovation and highlight current and future trends in the packaging, processing, printing, and paper industries. For this purpose, the event is hosting a specialized two-day conference on October 16 and 17, led by top-notch experts who will be discussing the latest developments in these industries.
