Muscat, 17 December 2011 - Nawras, Oman's customer friendly communications provider is launching a value packed promotion with one month's free postpaid broadband internet and modems reduced to less than half price. Postpaid Home Broadband customers choosing a Silver, Gold or Platinum plan also have the chance to win the latest Huawei tablet. This fantastic opportunity shows once again how Nawras customers always get more.

"Many people in Oman are already benefitting from Nawras Home Broadband and Voice services as customers choose to take advantage of the great value internet plans and pleasingly different service we offer," said Ahmed Al-Adawi, Home Broadband Internet Manager. "This exciting new promotion makes Nawras plug and play broadband service even more attractive and our new customers even have a chance to win a Huawei tablet."

The regular modem price of 39 Omani Rials has been reduced by more than 60% for the duration of this promotion. After buying a modem for only 15 Omani Rials from any Nawras Store, customers can start surfing the internet on the same day - in fact this only takes a couple of minutes once the device is plugged in. It could not be any easier to use.

Nawras postpaid Home Broadband internet plans start with the Bronze plan at a very affordable 9 Omani Rials for one GB of data. For 14 Omani Rials a month, customers can enjoy 6 GB of data with the monthly Silver plan and for 19 Omani Rials, a generous 20 GB of data is included in the Gold plan. At the top of the range, the Platinum plan provides customers unlimited data each month for just 24 Omani Rials.

In addition to one month's free internet access and a heavily discounted modem, all new Silver, Gold and Platinum postpaid broadband customers are also being entered into one of three monthly draws for 50 Huawei tablets with a value of around 150 Omani Rials each. During the promotion, Nawras is giving away these attractive 3G Android tablets which feature a touch screen, two cameras, WiFi and microSD card slot.

After a rapid rollout, Nawras Home Broadband and Voice service is now available for 87% of Oman's households. As the service is delivered to homes using the latest wireless WiMAX technology there is no delay from a complicated installation process. Customers simply purchase a modem from any Nawras Store, take it home and plug it in to begin enjoying high speed broadband internet.

In addition, the telephone connection is included free of charge with the Home Broadband & Voice service. There is no installation fee or monthly line charge to be paid by Home Voice customers taking this service along with Home Broadband. Customers simply pay for the calls they make.

Customers get low rates on national voice and fax calls with Home Voice as well as benefitting from NawrasTalk which bundles 100 minutes for 1.9 Omani Rials for calls to any Nawras Home Voice or mobile customer. Customers can also enjoy 10% discount on international calls with the great value 'favourite countries' option.
